South Korea is officially known as the Republic of Korea. The capital of
the country is Seoul. The official language of this country is Korean. South
Korea has a lot to offer in terms of culture, music, technology, heritage and
cuisines.
The traditional clothing hanbok of the country is quite renowned. This
traditional clothing has a variety of artistic designs on it and is globally
well known. Apart from the clothing, South Korea is also famous for the Korean
dramas and movies that are available with subtitles for people to watch who do
not understand Korean.
Not just in India but across the globe BTS from South Korea are very famous. The music videos of K-pop singers have further added to the global recognition of South Korea. South Korea has also made a global impact in the culinary realm. Kimchi, Bibimbap etc. are some of the dishes that are world famous.
South Korea is a democratic republic and as per the Constitution the sovereignty of the Republic of Korea shall reside in the people and all state authority shall emanate i.e., originate from the people of South Korea.
As per the Constitution of South Korea it shall be the duty of the State to confirm and guarantee the fundamental and inviolable human right of individuals. The term inviolable means something that cannot be dishonored or disrespected. The State shall strive to sustain and develop its cultural heritage and also strive towards enhancing its natural culture.
Republic of Korea has unicameral legislature i.e., National Assembly which represents the opinions, concerns and interests of the people. The legislating power is with the National Assembly.
