Sweden
is a Constitutional Monarchy where the Constitutional Monarch has ceremonial
and official duties. The Constitutional Monarch is the Head of the State whose
duties are regulated by law. In Sweden there are four fundamental laws that
make up the Constitution of Sweden namely:
The
Instrument of Government (It guarantees the citizens the various basic rights
and freedoms)
The
Act of Succession (It regulates the line of succession to the Swedish Throne)
The
Freedom of the Press Act (It provides for public access to official documents
relating to the work of the Swedish Parliament, the Government and the public
agencies)
The
Fundamental Law on Freedom of Expression (It provides for the freedom to
communicate information along with various other freedoms pertaining to
expression)
